By Metro

Take Metro's Yellow or Blue Line to the Braddock Road Station. Canal Center provides free van service between the station and 66 Canal Center Plaza. The white-and-blue "CANAL CENTER" vans operate every 15 minutes during rush hours and every 30 minutes midday and pick up passengers from the taxi/shuttle van kiosk in the Kiss-n-Ride area of the station parking lot.

By Car

From the north via the George Washington Parkway: (From Washington, DC, and the 14th Street Bridge, take the 2nd right exit, marked National Airport; from the north via the Beltway [I-495], cross the American Legion Bridge. Take the first exit onto the George Washington Parkway.) Go south on the George Washington Parkway past National Airport and the sailing marina. (The parkway becomes N. Washington Street.) Turn left on Madison Street. Go four blocks, turn left on N. Fairfax Street. Go two blocks and turn right on Canal Center Plaza. Go one block over the train tracks and turn right into the parking garage.

From the west via the Capital Beltway in Virginia: Follow the Beltway (I-95/495) to Exit 177B (Old Town Alexandria). Continue 1.3 miles on Rt. 1/Patrick Street. Turn right on Madison Street. Go seven blocks and turn left on N. Fairfax Street. Go two blocks and turn right on Canal Center Plaza. Go one block over the train tracks and turn right into the parking garage.

From Southern Virginia: Follow I-95 toward Baltimore/New Jersey. Take Exit 177B (Old Town Alexandria). Continue 1.3 miles on Rt. 1/Patrick Street. Turn right on Madison Street. Go seven blocks and turn left on N. Fairfax Street. Go two blocks and turn right on Canal Center Plaza. Go one block over the train tracks and turn right into the parking garage.

From the west via I-66: Take Exit 64 to Beltway south then east toward the Woodrow Wilson Bridge (I-95/495). From I-95 take Exit 177B (Old Town Alexandria). Continue 1.3 miles on Rt. 1/Patrick Street. Turn right on Madison Street. Go seven blocks and turn left on N. Fairfax Street. Go two blocks and turn right on Canal Center Plaza. Go one block over the train tracks and turn right into the parking garage.

From Southern/Eastern Maryland: Follow the Beltway (I-95/495) to Alexandria via the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 177B (Old Town Alexandria). Continue 1.3 miles on Rt. 1/Patrick Street. Turn right on Madison Street. Go seven blocks and turn left on N. Fairfax Street. Go two blocks and turn right on Canal Center Plaza. Go one block over the train tracks and turn right into the parking garage.

Visitor Parking

Visitor parking is available at Canal Center Plaza for $10.00 per day. From the garage entrance, go down the ramp, turn right, and park in any unreserved space. Walk past the ramp you drove down and look for the orange columns and signs for Building 66. Take the elevator to Suite 500. Alternate parking is available on Montgomery Street between N. Fairfax Street and the train tracks for $10.00 per day. This facility is recommended for van parking.

The building is not open to the public until 8:00 a.m. Please try to arrive after 8:00 a.m.
