CI-2 works with your subject matter experts to analyze how you do business. Performing an analysis of your business processes can serve as an input to the development of a strategic plan, or can be performed individually to help identify problem areas or areas for optimization within an established process. CI-2 staff perform expert analyses that involve:

• Tracing and documenting each process
• Mapping all the processes and their relationships
• Identifying gaps in the overall process map
• Evaluating the effectiveness of each process and the process as a whole
• Recommending methods to improve processes

With an analysis complete, CI-2 provides a detailed report of findings that can be used in strategic planning or business process re-engineering (BPE) efforts.
