Risk Management

According to Gartner Research over 30% of projects, once initiated, never reach a fruitful completion while 90 % of projects with budgets over six million fail in schedule, cost or quality.  Risk Management is the implementation of a formalized process to plan and mitigate for risks.  

This course focuses on strategies for identification, planning, mitigating, recognizing and managing of risks in projects and programs.  Following the Project Management Institute’s (PMI), Risk Management Knowledge area, this course will provide the structure for implementing Risk Management in your projects. From identification, to mitigation and monitoring, this course covers the practical knowledge necessary to successfully identify and mitigate risks before they cause irreparable damage to a project.
